About Our Church

Who We Are:

Here at St. Paul’s we worship in the Episcopal tradition. Following the liturgy and recognizing all persons as given gifts and talents to share with the community and the church. We welcome EVERYONE to come and experience God’s love. Come and observe, come and question, come and participate, come and be a part of our community! We would love to have you!

Our Mission

We work together to fulfill our baptismal covenant to seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbors as ourselves.

Our Priest

Our priest is the talented Reverend Julie Vice, who took over the ministry in 2020 during the height of COVID. On July 23rd, 2022 Julie was installed as our Rector. Rev. Julie was born and raised in Elko, but moved away for Seminary, after quite some time she has returned back ready to make a difference. Rev. Julie is dual ordained in the Lutheran Church, if you can’t find her at St. Paul’s odds are she’s with our friends on the hill at Faith Lutheran.

Church Partnerships

St. Paul’s has two other church partnerships, one with our Lutheran friends at Faith Lutheran (1700 Stitzel Rd, Elko, NV 89801) where we occasionally join together with to have special classes, worship services, and Bible studies. As our Priest is shared between the two churches, she splits her time between them. The other partnership is with the United Methodist Fellowship, who also worship in St. Paul’s building.
